Head Start (“we”, “us”) provides lice detection and removal services in Skopje, North Macedonia. We take the privacy of your family seriously and collect only what we need to provide our service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

Contact details you give us: name, phone / WhatsApp number, and any notes you send when booking.
Appointment details: service type, date, time, number of people, and location for home visits.
Limited treatment notes needed to provide care and follow-up checks.
Basic, privacy-friendly website analytics (page views) — no advertising trackers.

Because we treat children, some data may relate to a minor. We only collect it from, and act on the instructions of, a parent or guardian.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

To arrange and deliver your appointment and follow-up — performance of a service you requested.
To contact you about your booking via WhatsApp, phone or email — your consent / our agreement with you.
To meet legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.

Who can see it

We never sell your data and never share it with schools, pharmacies, or anyone who referred you. We use a small number of trusted processors purely to run the service:

WhatsApp (Meta) — to receive your booking enquiry and message you about your appointment.
Vercel — to serve this website.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and treatment records for 24 months, and accounting records for as long as the law requires. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, or withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@headstart-mk.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Agency for Personal Data Protection of North Macedonia.

Cookies

This site uses only what is needed to function and, if enabled, privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
